PPU established standards and policies to implement the activities of purchasing food, and drinks and providing services in a way that is encouraging and promoting healthy eating. It is one of PPU’s responsibility to encourage vendors to decrease the negative environmental and social consequences of the products and services they provide such as promoting healthy foods and beverages and decreasing environmentally harmful products. In addition, PPU engages a wide range of stakeholders such as students, staff, and social representatives in the ongoing development of policies and processes related to healthy and sustainable consumption including food.
