As an integration and sustainability effort of the trainings PPU staff had in occupational safety and health just had recently, PPU established the Occupational Safety and Health Unit (OSHU) at PPU in 2011, OSHU is responsible for safety and health trainings, standardization of the occupational environment at PPU and spreading the knowledge and practice of occupational safety and health to the local community.
PPU has started the practical steps of establishing the PPU OSHU by providing the approval of establishing the Unit and providing all the administrative and logistic support to start up the Unit through the office of the PPU Vice President for Community Services.
