Public and International Relations

About: 

Aligned with the university's mission to cultivate a highly competitive environment fostering creativity and innovation, the Office of International Relations was established. Its purpose is to contribute to the development of the university's faculty and students by fostering cooperation with other universities, institutions, and international organizations. The goal is to provide opportunities that enhance the university's academic and educational journey, elevate the skills of its students and faculty, and strengthen its presence both locally and internationally. The International Relations Office aims to build bridges of communication between the university and its global counterparts in science, culture, and other fields through the following initiatives:

  • Activating the university's role and showcasing its international standing through local, regional, and international collaborations in education, training, scientific research, and culture.
  • Leveraging existing international relations by establishing various agreements with relevant international, regional, or local bodies.
  • Introducing students to international programs for student exchange, scholarships, and training opportunities abroad.
  • Familiarizing faculty members with international programs supporting scientific research, funding scientific projects, academic exchange programs, and capacity development initiatives for the administrative body.

Vision:

Palestine Polytechnic University aspires to occupy a distinguished place among local and international universities by integrating into the international cooperation system in the fields of education, scientific research, and student and academic exchange.

 

Goals: 

The International Relations Office aims to accomplish the following goals:

  • Proposing and preparing memorandums of understanding with international universities to enhance the university's areas of excellence.
  • Documenting areas of collaborative cooperation in educational, scientific, and cultural programs with other universities.
  • Utilizing the expertise of faculty members through the exchange of visits with visiting professors in various programs.
  • Facilitating the exchange of expertise, coordination, and cooperation between relevant specialized scientific centers.
  • Establishing communication with international quality and accreditation bodies to exchange experiences, assisting the university in obtaining international accreditation, and securing an advanced position in international rankings.
