Palestine Polytechnic University and the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology held an event to honor exceptional students. Dr. Amjad Barham, President of Palestine Polytechnic University, welcomed Dr. Ishaq Sidr, the Palestinian Minister of Information and Communications Technology, and his delegation.
The students were recognized for their achievements in various competitions. Yafa Hassan Jaradat secured first place in a quantum computing hackathon at New York University - Abu Dhabi, while Aziz Amro and Mohammed Al-Husseini were commended for their impressive performances.
Amal Al Shawabkeh won first place in the "9th Undergraduate Research Competition" for her NSOR project, and Dr. Mahmoud Nassar received the best thesis award in postgraduate studies.
The event highlighted the Palestinian government's support for students, their participation in international competitions, and the development of their competitiveness. Dr. Barham praised the faculty members' dedication to providing quality education and emphasized the university's commitment to fostering educated citizens who can represent the Palestinian cause globally.
