Palestine Polytechnic University recently hosted a delegation from the Palestinian Students Scholarship Fund (PSSF), based in Chicago, USA. The delegation, led by Eng. Ali Atta and several Palestinian businessmen residing in America, was warmly received by Dr. Amjad Barham, the university president, along with Eng. Aiman Sultan, Vice President for Planning and Development Affairs, Dr. Raed Amro, Vice President for Academic Affairs, university staff, and PSSF scholarship recipients.
The president of the university expressed appreciation to the visiting delegation, emphasizing the strong sense of unity and solidarity among Palestinians residing both within and beyond the borders of Palestine. He emphasized the vital role of expatriates in supporting Palestinian students and youth, underscoring their strong connection to Palestine. The president thanked them for their support of university students and provided an overview of the university's mechanisms for assisting students with limited financial resources.
PSSF President, Mr. Ali Ata, spoke about the association's objective to support Palestinian university students, driven by a sense of belonging and belief in the potential of Palestinian youth to achieve progress and independence.
The university president expressed his appreciation to the guest delegation for their dedicated efforts in supporting students. Both parties agreed to further enhance the scholarship program and work together to provide increased support for all students with limited financial means. They pledged to collaborate on fundraising initiatives and establish partnerships to advance the welfare of the youth and the nation.
