The College of Nursing organized an event called "Future of Nursing" to celebrate International Nursing Day on May 12, 2023. Distinguished guests, including supervisors and department heads from hospitals and clinical trainers, attended the ceremony and discussed the history, development, and importance of nursing.
Dr. Raed Amro, Vice President for Academic Affairs, highlighted the significance of nursing for individuals and communities, while Dr. Nesreen ALqaissi talked about nursing evolution from the past to the present and upcoming nursing projects such as master's and PhD programs. Dr. Yousef Jaradat presented statistics on nursing numbers in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Additionally, Osaid Rashid discussed important nursing courses, and Sobeih reviewed the activities of the nursing clinic.
The event concluded with the Vice President for Academic Affairs and dean of the college honoring clinical trainers, outstanding students, and teaching staff.
