A group of representatives from Palestine Polytechnic University recently attended the second annual conference in Palestine of the Palestinian Students Scholarship Fund (PSSF). The conference aimed to support Palestinian students by sharing experiences among Palestinian universities, businessmen, and expatriate Palestinians.
The opening session discussed the impact of scholarships on Palestinian society, with University President Amjad Barham presenting the financial struggles faced by public universities and Palestinian youth in obtaining higher education. Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from past and present scholarship beneficiaries and view art exhibitions produced by students.
The university staff was commended for their efforts in achieving support for students through continuous communication with the association, and the president and members of the PSSF are scheduled to visit Palestine Polytechnic University later in the week.
