Center of Excellence in Water, Energy and Environment Research and Services Organizes a Training Workshop

The Center of Excellence in Water, Energy, and Environment Research and Services at Palestine Polytechnic University held a training workshop on water quality, tests, and chlorination mechanisms in cooperation with the Italian project partner Cesvi as part of the Swiss project Hands 4 Health.

The workshop was aimed at teachers responsible for school health in the schools targeted by the project. The director of the center, Dr. Hassan Sawalha, highlighted the importance of the project, which aims to improve the water, sanitation, and hygiene systems in schools. Engineer Muhannad Nassar gave a lecture on water quality tests, while Engineer Safa Sultan talked about water chlorination.

The workshop concluded with the distribution of devices to test the percentage of chlorine in the water, and attendees were given an explanation of how to use the device and enter the results of the tests into the project management's approved application for follow-up procedures.
