A workshop was held at PPU to support pioneering research projects under the "University Led Innovation and Entrepreneurship" program. Attendees included the university president, college deans, heads of departments, and other university staff. The business incubator manager at PPU, Mr. Ali Ramadan, gave a presentation on the project's role in incubating and supporting emerging research projects from higher education institutions. The project offers pre-incubation services, innovation transfer and investment trainings, consultations with experts, and collaboration with the private sector.
University President, Dr. Amjad Barham, praised the project for contributing to the creation of new job opportunities and the economic empowerment of Palestinian youth. The project is being implemented at PPU as a development project in partnership with the United Nations Development Program and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. It aims to support entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers, and experts in sustainable development sectors over a two-year period.
