His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Saeed Al-Tamimi, Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Palestine Polytechnic University, and Chairman of the University Graduates Union, received the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, His Excellency Minister Raed Radwan, and his delegation. The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Amjad Barham, President of PPU, and his deputies, as well as staff of the university's Public Relations and Media Department, as well as the College of Dual Studies.
During the meeting, Al-Tamimi praised the commission's work. Meanwhile, Barham commended the commission's efforts in promoting integrity and transparency to establish accountability, which ensures good governance and societal protection. He also mentioned the university's course, "Anti-Corruption Challenges and Solutions," which teaches students about the principles of accountability and aims to spread awareness about combating corruption.
The relationship between PPU and the Anti-Corruption Commission dates back more than five years, when the two institutions signed a memorandum of understanding. Under this agreement, the "Anti-Corruption Challenges and Solutions" course was developed to spread awareness about accountability and the protocols that can be used to combat corruption. The agreement also resulted in the university's participation in developing a plan and curriculum for this course for all Palestinian universities.
A cooperation agreement was signed during the meeting to enhance the common goals of the two institutions in preventing and combating corruption. The agreement includes joint efforts to spread integrity and transparency.
