Researchers Dr. Ishaq Sidr and Dr. Mahmoud Nassar from the College of Applied Professions at PPU won the Arab American University Award for Excellence in Scientific Research. The research was awarded the best scientific research in the natural sciences, engineering and technology for the year 2022.
The research was published in the Polymers journal (IF: 4.967, Q1) titled “Chemical Treatment of Bio-Derived Industrial Waste Filled Recycled Low-Density Polyethylene: A Comparative Evaluation.”
The researchers thanked PPU for its continuous support for scientific research. The Chancellor, Dr. Amjad Barham and Dr. Nafez Naser Aldeen Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research congratulated the researchers for this win, praising their performance at the university. Dr Barham emphasized the continued support for researchers at PPU to publish more.
