Dr. Munjed Samouh and Dr. Othman Zalloum from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Physics participated in remote attendance meetings between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States of America and the Palestinian universities. Dr. Othman Zalloum was the representative of physics specialization at Palestine Polytechnic University, and Dr. Munjed Samouh of applied mathematics. It is worth noting that these meetings came simultaneously with the holding of the Third International Conference on Science in Palestine at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston in the United States, in cooperation and coordination with Palestine Academy for Science and Technology, Palestine Polytechnic University for the southern governorates of Palestine, An-Najah National University for the northern governorates, the Arab American University of Jenin - Al-Rayhan branch for the central governorates, and Al-Aqsa University for all governorates in Gaza Strip.

George Smith, Nobel Prize 2018 winner in chemistry
David Mumford, one of the most well-known mathematicians (algebraic engineering), honorary member of Palestine Academy, and winner of the Fields Medal in mathematics.
Nergis Mavalvala, Professor of Astrophysics and a fellow of MacArthur.
During these meetings, they discussed ways to support Palestinian scientists and researchers and networking with international scholars, develop scientific research, academic programs, and joint supervision of master's theses and dissertations, as well as creating partnerships between Palestinian and American universities.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Mohammad Al-Adam from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Physics, was one of the members, representing Palestine Polytechnic University, of the delegation of Palestinian scholars at the Third International Meeting on Sciences in Palestine.
