The Palestinian American Medical Association (PAMA) distributes scholarships to the students of the College of Medicine (CM) at Palestine Polytechnic University
The Palestinian American Medical Association (PAMA) offered a number of grants to the students of the College of Medicine at the PPU. Dr. Imad Khatib, the University President, announced, in his office, the students' names who received the grants, in the presence of the Vice President of Community Services Dr. Mohammad Ghazi Qawasmi, the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences Dr. Fawzi Al-Razem, the Academic Supervisor of the Joint Medicine Program Dr. Hamzeh Al-Zabadi, in addition to the CM's staff and the students receiving the grants.
The University President, Al-Khatib, expressed his thanks to Dr. Majdi Hamarsheh, the Head of  the Palestinian American Medical Association for providing assistance to the university students , represented by 10 scholarships to the outstanding students of the College of Medicine, in addition to an extra scholarship to an outstanding female student. He also thanked Dr. Nizam Al-Turk, the Financial Director of BAMA, and its Staff for their great role to enable the needy students to complete their studies and support the medical sector in Palestine.
Al-Khatib has also emphasized that the university is working hard to invest in the University students and help them in all aspects, and focuses on activating the assistance provided by the institutions and NGOs, in light of the difficult economic conditions the Palestinian people face.  He also said that the university has had a great interest in strengthening partnerships between the local, regional and international community institutions  and different sectors in order to develop academic programs, especially medicine and health science programs.
The students as well expressed their thanks to the Palestinian American Medical Association, hoping that the scholarships and grants will continue to increase to include a wider segment and a larger number of students benefiting from the grants.
At the end of the meeting, the grants were distributed to the beneficiary students.
