Participation of Palestine Polytechnic University in a workshop within the EU-supported Virtual Reality Project

The PPU participated in a workshop,  held at the University of Patras in Greece within the Virtual Reality Project titled "Virtual Reality as an Innovative Educational Tool in Palestinian Higher Education Institutions, supported by the European Union within ERASMUS +. Other  Palestinian partner universities as well participated in this project,  including Al-Istiqlal University, Al-Quds Open University, Arab America University, in addition to  European universities: University of Patras - Greece, Bucharest Polytechnic University - Romania, and Nitra Agricultural University - Slovakia.

Mr. Nidal Abu Rajab, from Palestine Polytechnic University and the project coordinator for the University, participated in this workshop which focused on laying the foundations and arrangement of the conference committees to be held at the end of the project. In the workshop they discussed the issue of establishing and equipping virtual reality labs that support virtual reality in the partner universities and then the mechanisms of applying educational scenarios that programmers are currently implementing within the virtual environment in the curricula taught in Palestinian universities. After that they arranged the mechanisms of dissemination and awareness of the various stages of the project through updating the website of the project and the various social media.
