Engineer Ayman Wazwaz, the Chairman of the Department of Electrical Engineering /Engineering College, Dr. Fawwaz Nawaj’ah, College of Applied Professions, and Mr. Musa Irfa’iyeh, College of Information Technology and Computer Engineering participated in the ICCIT which was held in Istanbul, Turkey and organized by Ghazi Turkish University, Turkey. The papers presented at the Conference will be published in IEEE Xplore database and included in the Ei Compendex and Scopus research databases.
Engineer Ayman Wazwaz presented a paper on Raspberry Pi and Computers-Based Face Detection and Recognition System by using a microcomputer and a group of computers for large gatherings. Three other engineers participated in this paper: Ameer Herbawi, Mohammad Titti and Sajed Hmeid, specializing in Communication and Electronics Engineering. Also, Dr. Fawwaz Nawaj’ah presented a paper on Responsive Web Design Commitment By the Web Developers in Palestine. This paper focuses on the basic principles of responsive web design and the extent the web developers are committed to this kind of design in Palestine.
As well Mr. Musa Irf’iyeh presented a paper on Adaptive SRAD Filter for PET Images Based on Anatomical Prior. It focuses on the integration of the class image with a CT image position version to improve the diagnosis of cancer in nuclear imaging.
It is noteworthy that the research was carried out in collaboration with doctors from Al-Muttala’ Hospital in Jerusalem and the University of Brussels Free Hospital. This paper has received the Best Presentation Prize for participation in the field of photo-processing at the Conference.
