The German CST held a training course for the University students specializing in Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering with 12 hours of training via video conferencing technology. The training has mainly focused on the design and analysis of the various antennas, especially the micro-strip antennas which are made of special plates on the CNC turning machine and then its performance is measured in the Antennas and Microwave Lab at the Electrical Engineering Department.
The Dean of the College of Engineering Dr. Nafez Nasreddin handed over the certificates issued by the German CST to a group of TEE students. The German CST is the producer of the program of designing the various antennas and microwaves systems commonly used by universities and specialized companies globally.
The training course was organized by Dr. Osmah Atta and engineer Mutaz Jawa’deh in coordination with Dr. Mohammad al-Hadidi and his specialized team.
It is noteworthy that the purchase of CST Microwave Studio- 3D EM Simulation Program and other devices like wide microwave frequency generator and micro-absorption plates have been funded by the EU TEMPUS.
