Palestine Polytechnic University Signs A Joint Cooperation Agreement with the Temporary International Presence in the City of Hebron (TIPH)

On February, 2018 and during a visit to the TIPH, Palestine Polytechnic University signed a joint cooperation agreement with the TIPH.  Dr. Imad al-Khatib, the PPU President and the Brigadier General Einar Johnsen, the Head of the TIPH signed this agreement in the presence of a staff from the University and the TIPH. This agreement aims to conduct a training program in the field of business entrepreneurship and building startup projects, targeting  the Palestinian youth in H2 area.

At the beginning of the meeting, the TIPH’s Brigadier General, Einar Johnsen, welcomed the visiting delegation and  stressed the TIPH’s important role  in supporting the project that aims to serve all the community segments in H2 area. He expressed his happiness for such partnership with the PPU  and he valued the  University quality of education inspired from the local and regional success stories.

Dr. al-Khatib  as well expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted by the TIPH to support the local community. Then he talked about the PPU’ role in Palestine which as he said has not been limited only to offering academic programs but also to serving the community through  its partnerships with all sectors to work outside the University. He then called the attention to the university achievements obtained recently  through the many regional and international prizes and awards .

At the end of the meeting, the participants stressed the importance of future cooperation that serves  all the targeted community segments.
