On February 5, 2017, the Industrial Synergy Center launched the NI Lab VIEW Academy which is consistent with the University vision “Towards Science, Technology, and Innovation Entrepreneurial University” by focusing on the practical side in the framework of its programs. It has been established after the fulfillment of the conditions required for this academy by having certified trainers and creating a specialized laboratory with advanced technologies, modern equipment and software. This Academy has come within the first phase of the project of designing and producing industrial machines for the industrial sector funded by “Compete”.
Six teachers from the University: Dr. Sami Abu Isneineh, Dr. Diaa Arafeh, Dr. Loai Shahin, engineer Makawi Hrais, engineer Alaa Tamimi and engineer Mohammad al-Wawi, have passed the specialized tests for accreditation as trainers for the National Instruments (NI) Global Company and received international certificates for training in the field of programming and technical equipment produced by this company.
Dr. Mohammad Ghazi al-Qawasmi, the Vice- President of the Community Service has praised such achievement which will contribute to the enhancement of the university visibility locally and internationally, emphasizing the significant role of the company to strengthen the cooperation between the university and the private sector through the development of technological systems in the domestic industry. As well engineer Mak awi Hraiz, the Director of the Industrial synergy Center, has pointed out that this academy and through the advanced lab that has been created , is authorized to hold the “CLAD/(Certified Lab View Associate Developer) exam as well as training courses and workshops to find realistic and successful solutions to the problems the industrial sectors face in the field of technological techniques.
It is noteworthy that the task of directing and managing this academy is assigned to engineer Makawi Hraiz and engineer Alaa Tamimi.
