A delegation from Palestine Polytechnic University organizes a visit to American universities in Michigan

A delegation from Palestine Polytechnic University, represented by the President of the University, Prof.  Imad Al-Khatib, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mustafa Abu Al-Safa, Director of the Quality  Unit, Dr. Hassan Sawalha, in addition to Ms. Nour Tahboub, from the Department of Planning and Development,  visited American universities in the state of Michigan.
The visit has come as part of the Entrepreneurial Education and Community Service Project, which aims to increase the university's competitiveness in the context of its transformation into an entrepreneurial university of science and innovation within the second phase of its strategic plan. The delegation discussed the prospects of joint cooperation with a view to developing joint academic and research exchange programs for students and teachers. The visit included meetings with university presidents and faculty members at the University of Michigan, Lawrence Technological University and the University of Eastern Michigan. The business centers of these universities, laboratories and business incubators were also found to benefit from their experiences in accelerating business and technology. During this visit, the delegation will also visit Auckland University and Wayne University in the coming days.
It is noteworthy that the visit will also include the participation of the President of the 51st Festive University to establish the United Foundation for the Holy Land, which supports Palestinian students and orphans. The President of the University will be a keynote speaker at the ceremony and there will be meetings with the Palestinian and Arab communities in Illinois and Chicago. There will be  also a meeting with the Palestinian community in Michigan to develop cooperation.
