The creative student: Ibrahim Al-Qawasmeh, who is specializing in Multimedia at the CAP, participates in the Belgian International Competition (WSC) which will be held in October, 2017 in Abu Dhabi.
The President Mahmoud Abbas met with Al Qawasmi on his arrival in Brussels and stressed his pride and his support to Palestinians, who are advancing in all fields and international competitions. The meeting was attended by a number of prominent Palestinian figures represented by Presidential Spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina, Deputy Prime Minister Ziad Abu Amr, Presidential Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs Majdi Khalidi, Palestine Ambassador to Belgium Abdel Rahim Al-Farra and Bilateral Relations and Cultural Affairs Officer Hassan Al-Balawi.
This scientific trip aims to develop Ibrahim’s skills, and get information and knowledge of the international institutions in the field of design, advertising, promotion and printing, as part of the developmental plan prepared by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and the College of Applied Professions.
Also, Dr. Imad Al-Khatib, President of Polytechnic University of Palestine, stressed his support for technical and vocational education and praised the student Ibrahim, who participates in the international skills competition (WSC) at the international level. As well the Dean of the College, Dr. Ishaq Sidr, confirmed his support for this entrepreneurial experiment and considered it necessary to be used as a catalyst for creative youth energies in all fields.
Mr. Wael Awwad, the Chairman of the Department of Information Technology and Computer Engineering , thanked the faculty members (Duaa Sharbatati, Ashraf Odeh, Ihsan Muhtaseb, Dana Bakri, and Samira Abu Ghalyoun) who participated in training the student Ibrahim in the special training program before traveling. He also pointed out that the success of the student Ibrahim is considered a success story for vocational and technical education in Palestine.
