Palestine Polytechnic University and Istishari Arab Hospital have signed a cooperation agreement that includes joint efforts, particularly in medical training for students of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. The agreement was signed by the President of the University, Dr. Amjad Barham, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istishari Arab Hospital, Dr. Salem Abu Khaizaran.
The terms of the agreement focus on providing clinical training for medical students in various departments of the hospital and apprenticeships with experienced specialists and consultants in different fields. The agreement also includes training for students of nursing, therapeutic nutrition, medical imaging, nuclear medicine, and occupational therapy programs in hospital departments. The hospital is fully equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and provides healthcare services that meet international standards.
This collaboration is aimed at serving the Palestinian community by offering medical services to the southern part of the West Bank and providing the Palestinian health sector with trained and qualified professionals. Furthermore, the partnership is expected to result in the establishment of the university hospital project.
