As part of the cooperation project between Palestine Polytechnic University and Konkuk University in Korea, and within the project funded by the Korean Development Agency, the University received the visiting delegation to participate in training courses at the Center for Biotechnology in several areas related to the activities of the Center. The visiting delegation consisted of the Vice-President of the Korean University of Konkuk Professor Cho, the Director of the Public Relations Office, Professor Kim, and the Head of the Korean Society of Biotechnologists Professor Yoon. The visit included various activities and a field tour, where the Director of the Palestinian-Korean Center for Biotechnology Research Dr. Yacoub al-Ashhab had a look at the activities and the center labs and reviewed the achievements and research projects.
The visit also included a meeting with the President of Palestine Polytechnic University, Prof. Imad Khatib, who welcomed the delegation and stressed the strategic relationship between the two parties, and then he briefed the recent developments of the university, especially in scientific and research fields.
