PPU is a dedicated university for entrepreneurial work where it provides innovative solutions through programs and services to a wide range of social and economical problems including hunger. This shows through steering scientific research towards solving environmental problems causing hunger and malnutrition such as diminishing crops and cattle diseases. Also, academic programs are established to provide solutions to hunger and nutritional problems such as the streams of biodiversity conservation in plants and animals in the biotechnology master program, and the bachelor program of preventive and therapeutic nutrition.
